  • Application field
  • Instructions of use
  • Recomendations of use
  • FIXMAR PRIMER GR adhesion promoter is ideal for improving the adhesion of any type of plaster or render on concrete, brick, light blocks or gypsum substrates, also on non-absorbent substrates such as ceramic floors. On walls and floors, both exterior and interior.
  • On porous cement, anhydrite or sanded floors, FIXMAR PRIMER GR primer acts as a fixative for dust residues, facilitating the correct adherence of a self-levelling mortar. It also acts as a pore filler.
  • Substrate preparation: Surfaces must be clean, dry, cured, free of oil or grease, and free of any detachable residues. It is not necessary to wet the substrate before application.
  • Application of the primer: Shake before use and apply to the surface by brush or roller. After the waiting time the plaster, render or self-levelling mortar can be applied.
  • Apply at substrate temperatures between 5⁰ and 35⁰.
  • Protect from frost.
  • Do not use FIXMAR PRIMER GR in the presence of water.
  • Clean tools with water after application of the primer.
  • It is possible to apply a second coat of FIXMAR PRIMER GR even if a long period of time has elapsed since the first application.
  • On porous or absorbent substrates it can be thinned with water up to 20%.
  • The waiting time before applying the render, plaster or self-levelling mortar is 15 to 60 minutes depending on the substrate and atmospheric conditions.
