Productives processes

The unique characteristics of our production process and the rigorous controls define the final quality of our products

In order to guarantee the quality of our products, AYMAR S.A.U has as its priority the control of the production process at all stages, from the extraction of the raw material to its distribution. As a result of this commitment, the means have been established for the process to be optimal and to comply with the highest quality standards.

  • Ressources

The basic raw material we use is the marble we extract from our quarries. This marble of great purity and quality, due to its physical, chemical and mechanical characteristics, makes it an ideal aggregate for our products.

175 ha of authorised mining area
More than 12 million tonnes of identified reserves.

  • Extraction

Marble aggregates are extracted in the XAUXA underground quarry using the chamber and pillar system. This underground origin of the aggregate guarantees that it is free of impurities and dry, a very important characteristic in dry mortars and concretes. We have a work team highly specialised in this type of exploitation and equipped with state-of-the-art drilling, perforation, loading and transport machinery, in accordance with current needs in order to work with maximum safety and maximum performance.

    • 15 km of underground galleries and chambers
  • Crushing and Grading

The marble that is transported from Xauxa is crushed in our Sant Celoni plant, where hourly quality controls are carried out with respect to the determined granulometric curve, the level of colour and the degree of humidity of the aggregate, suitable for the manufacture of mortars and dry concretes.

    • 3 crushing lines with a production capacity of over 400 t/h.
  • Mixing and packaging

In the mixing and packaging facilities, the components, marble aggregate, cement and relevant additives, are dosed, fully automatically, to obtain different mortars and dry concretes; they are bagged, palletised and suitably packaged to guarantee the maintenance of their properties.

    • 3 mixing and bagging lines with a global production capacity of more than 5,000 bags/h.
  • Storage

The products, crushed marble, bagged or in bulk and bagged mortars and concretes, are stored and stacked to guarantee their preservation from atmospheric and climatic conditions and prevent their degradation so that they are in perfect condition to be supplied to our customers.

    • 6,000 m2 of covered storage for finished products.
    • 3,000 m3 of storage in silos.
  • Logistics

We have a fleet of lorries to supply our products, in bulk or in sacks, as well as crane lorries to deliver the material to construction sites, in order to be able to offer a good service to our customers.
