Adirepar R4

ADIREPAR R4 is a single-component, thixotropic, fast-setting product reinforced with polymeric fibres and corrosion passivators whose application is focused on the structural repair of concrete even when repair of large thicknesses is necessary.

Composed of crushed marble aggregates used in construction (EN 12620 and EN 13139), Portland cement (EN 197-1 and UNE 80601) and additives of both organic and inorganic nature that give it excellent characteristics in terms of adherence and resistance, both initial and final.

  • Technical data
  • Suitable for indoor and outdoor use, for horizontal and vertical repairs including counter-gravity.
  • Reconstruction of iron cover layer on reinforced or prestressed concrete structures; balconies, cornices, lintels,
  • pillars and beams.
  • Reconstruction of concrete steps, ornamental pieces, stone walls, etc.
  • Repair of surface defects such as cracks or gravel nests.
  • Repair of window frames, door frames, bolt anchors, etc.
  • Repair of pavements, ramps, canals and bridges due to its high wear resistance.
  • Preparation of the substrate: It is necessary to remove any remains of deteriorated, disjointed, unsound or disintegrable concrete, as well as any traces of dust, paint or release waxes. If it is necessary to protect the iron reinforcement, it is essential to remove the thickest traces of rust, brush them and apply a uniform layer of ADIREPAR ANTI-OXID, this product protects the iron from possible future oxidation by means of a method known as anodic passivation. The substrate must be wetted 24 hours before application and this wetting must be repeated just before application.
  • Mixing preparation: Add 4.75-5l of water per 25 kg bag of product and knead for approximately 3 min with a low rpm electric mixer to avoid lumps.
  • Application of the sample: Apply the mortar with the help of a trowel or by spraying with a thickness between 10 mm and 40 mm. Then compact and trowel the product with a fine trowel. For greater thicknesses, the first layer of mortar should be left to harden for about 30 minutes before applying another layer.
