Revemar Render Thick Layer
The mortar REVOCO CAPA GRUESA supplied by AYMAR S.A. is an industrial mortar made of cement, lime, marble aggregates and special additives that give it good waterproofing and breathability. It can be applied manually or with a spraying machine.
Composition
Composed of crushed metamorphic limestone aggregates for use in construction, as aggregates for concrete and mortars (EN 12620), cement CEM I - 42, 5R (EN 197-1 and UNE 80601), calcium hydroxide, slaked hydrated aerial lime (EN 459-1) and organic and inorganic additives to improve the workability and properties of the mortar).

The mortar REVOCO CAPA GRUESA has been designed for plastering and rendering in interiors and exteriors. Ideal on concrete blocks and plaster. Especially indicated to obtain a smooth finish, troweled or scraped.
- Preparation of the substrate: clean and dampen the substrates before application, the substrate must be completely set, resistant, consistent, clean of dust, paint, oil, etc.
- Preparation of the mixture: add clean running water, knead for 2 minutes, let stand for about 3 minutes and knead again until a homogeneous paste free of lumps is obtained.
- Application of the sample: spread the product with a trowel or machine on the support and smooth it. Wait from 1 to 3 hours before troweling the material. Make two coats if it is projected directly on brick enclosure.
- Do not apply at low temperatures and high humidity, with rain or with risk of frost.
- The application temperature should be between 5ºC and 30ºC.
- In the joints between supports of different natures and singular points, to reinforce the mortar with fiberglass mesh, treated anti-alkali.
- Delimit the work zone by means of beads.
- The addition of other material (additives, cement, etc.) can change the behavior and characteristics of the product.
- In case of application on concrete or non-absorbent substrates, a previous application of an adhesion bridge is recommended.
