Educational visit to the XAUXA mine. Dissemination of sustainable mining practices.

On Tuesday, October 14, 2025, we had the honor of welcoming a group of sixth-grade students from the Escola Acqua Alba in Gualba (Barcelona) to the XAUXA mine.

During the visit, the students were able to learn firsthand about the mining process, which is carried out in a responsible and sustainable manner, as well as its environmental impact within the Montseny Natural Park.

We had the valuable collaboration of Mr. Joan Rosell Riba, manager of Rosell Minerals and member of the Grup Mineralògic Català, who shared his knowledge about the minerals present in the area with the students, explaining their properties and characteristics in an educational and entertaining way.

We would like to give special thanks to the Gualba Environmental Park for their hospitality. Visitors enjoyed its excellent facilities, where they were able to have lunch and rest after the day's activities.
